Amendment in AIDC on Crude Oils and Lentils - Notification 65/2023-Customs dt. 21.12.2023
The Agriculture Infrastructure and Development Cess (AIDC) on Crude Palm Oil, Soybean Oil, SunFlower Oil, Lentil amends the principal notification no. 49/2021 Customs, dated 13.10.2021, which currently specifies the Agriculture Infrastructure and Development Cess (AIDC) leviable on Crude Palm Oil, Crude Soybean Oil, Crude Sunflower seed Oil at 5% and NIL for and Lentil (Mosur). The notable change introduced by this amendment is the extension of the validity date, now set to remain in force up to and inclusive of the 31st March 2025.
However, the amendment maintains the existing status of AIDC leviable on Crude Palm Oil, Crude Soybean Oil, Crude Sunflower seed Oil till 31.03.2024.
