INDIAN VEGETABLE OIL PRODUCERS' ASSOCIATION (IVPA) was founded as “Indian Vanaspati Producers' Association” in 1977 and registered in 1978 as “Not for Profit Organization” under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956. In 2019 – IVPA name Change to “Indian Vegetable Oil Producers’ Association” to reflect the broad-based members that are part of IVPA and for the issues that IVPA works on. IVPA is an industry-specific association comprising mainly of manufacturers of vegetable oils and is open for all stakeholders. Legacy of the IVPA is reflected in the association's rich history and evolution.
